The Australian Government Jobs and Skills Expo is coming to QSEC

The Australian Government Jobs and Skills Expo is coming to QSEC on Tuesday, 20 August 2013 from 10am to 3pm.

Local businesses looking for staff and job seekers looking for a job or wanting to improve their skills in order to get a job, should come to the Jobs and Skills Expo.

The Job and Skills Expos are part of the Federal Government’s $3 billion ‘Building Australia’s Future Workforce’ package, with a proven track record of achieving results for employers and training organisations as well as job seekers. Since the Expos commenced in October 2009, more than 30,000 job seekers have connected with jobs and many more with skills training opportunities just by attending the Expos.

These Expos are a ‘jobs and skills marketplace,’ where job seekers can engage directly with businesses, employment service providers, private recruitment agencies and registered training organisations, with a view to filling job vacancies and addressing skills shortages.

The Job and Skills Expos are about connecting employers with jobs seekers, all under one roof, all on one day, in a ‘jobs and skills marketplace’.

Entry for exhibitors and job seekers is free.

Come along to take advantage of the many exhibitor displays and talk with their representatives one-to-one. Come and enjoy a free sausage sizzle and participate in the many information sessions and interactive displays.

To be involved as an exhibitor or to place a job vacancy at the Caboolture Jobs and Skills Expo call 13 1158 or go to humanservices.gov.au/expos.
