Naomi Lee - Sundance Horsemanship

Naomi from Sundance Horsemanship, in conjunction with Southern Cross Extreme Cowboy Racing Club, will be hosting a horsemanship challenge like you have never seen before! The lunchtime time entertainment will feature Naomi, the Dans, Dave Manchon and Hollie Shiels face off in the 2020 QHHS Cowboy Up Challenge!

Hollie Shiels - HLS Trick Riding

Hollie was an original member of the all-girl team GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS who performed at a variety of shows and events and even on TV. She also spent 13 years working at the Australian Outback Spectacular. Hollie established HLS Trick Riding in 2015 and teaches death-defying stunts on horseback.

Ian Francis - Ian Francis Horsemanship

Ian Francis is a legend amongst Australian horsemen and is often described as the best horseman in the world. He has trained more horses and received more awards in more events than any other horseman this country has seen. He has been a mentor to many in the Australian equestrian industry.

The face behind Equalize Equine Therapy is Brittney Anning who is a qualified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Based on the Sunshine Coast, Brittney has an approach of being real, genuine and transparent towards her clients with the goal for every horse to be as functional and pain free as possible.

Nicole Tough - Nicole Tough Dressage

Nicole is an accredited Level 2 Dressage Specialist Coach, Level A National Grand Prix, Young Horse Judge and Judge Educator. She is a highly successful competitor, having trained 10 horses to FEI level, with 9 Australian titles, over 27 State Championship titles and has held 40 spots on State and National Squads since 1994.

Tanja Mitton - Equestrian Success Mindset Training Centre

Tanja has been the Mindset Coach for the Australian High-Performance Dressage and Para Squads from 2014-2016. She now travels around Australian and Europe training and coaching riders of all levels in all disciplines, specialising in the area of mindset and rider position.

Sam is a bona-fide horse mad, tea drinking, Tim-Tam inhaling bookworm who absolutely adores horses and photographing these beautiful animals to perfection. Since 2016 Sam has been professionally photographing horses and families and is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.

Glenn Wyse - Glenn Wyse AWCF Farrier Services

Glenn has been in the horse industry for more than 35 years - his equestrian career started in the thoroughbred industry as a teenager. Currently Glenn holds multiple Judges Cards and runs a horse-shoeing business and recently passed his AWCF Farrier's test, making him one of the highest qualified farriers in Australia.

QRIC supports clubs, associations and organisations that align with the Commission's objective of promoting post-racing career opportunities for racehorses by including classes or events that cater for recently retired racehorses.
