The Great Sport of Geriatric Dressage 2024 Championships

Join the South Burnett Equestrian Group for a day of dressage and celebrate the grace and talent of older horses and riders.

This event is all about dressage for older horses and young-at-heart riders aged 50 and above at all levels. There will even be a Double Geriatrics class, where horses are over 18 years old.

Whether you’re a horse lover or looking for a fun family outing, this event is perfect for everyone. Enjoy a day filled with excitement while supporting mature-aged riders and their horses as they do what they love most.

The series focuses on horse welfare, safety, correct training, and having a whole lot of fun.

A completed Horse health declaration(PDF, 676KB) is required for all horses entering the Queensland State Equestrian Centre.
