Caboolture Carriage Club Show Driving

Brown horse attached to small buggy with lady in olden day clothing

The Caboolture Carriage Club formed in 1975. The club is affiliated with the Australian Carriage Driving Society.

Often seen at agricultural and Royal Shows, show driving events consist of light and heavy harness classes.

Horses and ponies in light harnesses are shown in vehicles such as sulkies, buggies, gigs, joggers and jinkers. Heavy harness classes feature draught breeds, such as the teams of Clydesdales, with large wagons we are all familiar with seeing at Royal Shows.

The Caboolture Carriage Club Show Driving event will feature Long Reining (more complex than previous shows), Turn-Out, In Harness, and Driver classes.

The event is catered for competitors. The entry form is available from the Caboolture Carriage Club Facebook page.

All horses must have a horse health declaration completed and handed to officials on arrival.
